Student registration for South Sumter High School must be completed online via the school's website. After submitting the online form, parents and guardians will need to bring the required documents to South Sumter High. Parking On Campus

Attention South Sumter High School Students:

If you plan to park on campus, it's essential to obtain a parking permit. To apply, complete the parking application through the button below. You will need to provide a copy of your driver's license, vehicle registration, proof of insurance, and both a signed Parking Agreement from you and your parent. The cost for a parking permit is $25.00, cash only.

The School Improvement Plan is a strategic blueprint designed to enhance student achievement and strengthen the overall performance of South Sumter High School. Developed through collaboration among administrators, educators, staff, parents, and students, the plan establishes SMART goals—specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound—that focus on academic growth, student support services, and school climate. This guiding document directs school-wide efforts to create a positive, inclusive, and high-achieving learning environment where every student is given the opportunity to thrive.

Student ID Cards

At South Sumter High School, students must wear their IDs visibly around their necks at all times after they are issued in the fall. IDs must be shown when entering the school and boarding or exiting the school bus. Students without IDs will receive a temporary badge, and repeated failure to bring an ID may lead to disciplinary action. 

If an ID is lost or needs repair, students should visit the front office. Replacement IDs cost ($$) lanyards are ($$), and replacement sleeves are ($$).
